Note: If you are re-adding printers after a password change, navigate to control panel -> devices and printers -> right click and remove the device before following the steps below.
Access the control panel via the start menu.
Under "Hardware and Sound" select "View devices and printers". If this does not appear, change your "View by" to Category.
Select "Add a printer".
Select "The printer that I want isn't listed".
Go to "Select a shared printer by name" and click "Browse..."
Note: At this stage if you get an error that says "Network Discovery is turned off" Click the popup and turn Network Discovery on and proceed from there.
Navigate to the Address Bar (As shown below) Type in either
Type in \\e4179s01sv015v5.indigo.schools.internal\ for Trade Training Centre
It will likely require your details to access the print server. When it asks you for your user name and password use the following details.
For students indigo\Firstname.Lastname and school password.
For staff indigo\enumber
Note: Its important you include "indigo\" before typing your username. \ = Backslash not forward slash.
Remember to select "Remember my credentials".
If your credentials do not work, please see an IT admin to change your password.
How to configure the PIN code on your PC
In control panel right click on the printer and select Printing preferences.
Select the basic tab and select Authentication/Account Track tab.
Type in your Department name and PIN code and select verify. If you do not know the Dept Name and Code please ask your lecturer or submit a ticket on freshdesk.
It should now be good to go!
