If your file will not open with the correct program. Follow these steps.

Right click on your file -> Select “Open with” -> “Choose another app”.

If your program is not listed, select “More apps”

Scroll down and select “Look for another app on this PC”

Ensure you tick the box “Always use this app to open. xxxx files”

Navigate to “This PC -> Local Disk (C:) -> Program files -> Adobe and select the program you want to use.
