Manea Senior College is a BYOD school. This means the network administrators are not responsible for backing up your data.

We strongly recommend you backup your data to as many different locations as possible.

Saving Data

1. Your first point of data backup should be to save all documents and projects to your OneDrive cloud storage.

The advantage of cloud storage is that Microsoft will backup your data for you and it is extremely unlikely your data can be lost if your device gets damaged or stolen.

Another advantage is that you can also access your data from any computer.

At MSC you are entitled to 100GB of cloud storage. This should be more than enough for a year’s work. Please find guides on how to back up your data on the the IT’s helpdesk website (http://maneasc.freshdesk.com/)

2.Save all documents and projects to your laptop.

3.It's also recommended that you backup all documents and projects to an external hard-drive or USB, (Preferably a hard drive as USBs are more easily lost and damaged).
